@GerardAraud En donnant des garanties de sécurité à l’Iran qu’une nouvelle attaque ne sera pas possible. Le seul acteur suffisamment puissant et aligné avec l’Iran et les intérêts commerciaux du monde pour jouer ce rôle de garant, c’est la Chine.

Les questions sont parfois simples : comment en pratique réouvrir le détroit d’Ormuz autrement que par la négociation ? Pas de grands mots, pas d’abstraction svp. Une solution réaliste….

@DarioCpx A strong CPI later would not be welcome in Japan. It may cause the carry trade unwind. We will see the urgent JPN intervention. It will also confirm that there would be no rate cut. A soft CPI will cause more USD devaluation, nurturing the debasement case.

We are now ~1 big figure away from the level where the Japan government will start actively intervening on the JPY FX and break things around in the global financial system as a side effect
