@masterpj55 @Engineerisaac lmao, the mentality being what @masterpj55 said. I realised people might be thinking I'm talking about hate being the way.

@masterpj55 @Engineerisaac Don't make me say the line again (it's not a...). But what I will say is that anything built out of hate and anger will return to the fires it came from. My hope is that people take that mentality at the very least when people build things using basis.

Coming in the new year ill be investing alot of my love into learning about @BasisVR i see so much potential for the platform. How they are executing the project is insanely exciting and interesting.

@thedowd @xxirael Instead of calling people names, I'm more inclined to extend knowledge on how to succeed. If the industry doesn't improve soon, it could very well be over for the median.

VR needs more closed, smart products and fewer platforms / frameworks.

@xxirael @Engineerisaac You may also notice I don't mention platforms directly. This is intentional, basis we want to go way beyond just platforms. It's a given that basis will be used in platforms, but we believe that it can do so much more.

@feoriefrimon @slhamlet @lukedooly Yep we also support hot switching between vr and desktop. Phone build also exists just not great to use yet

@John_Westra @slhamlet @lukedooly The server architecture is very much a single server application design for fidelity. My goal is to do this with all the features people have come to expect. Not to mention it's open source and people do have needs like arma type games for this level of crazy

@John_Westra @slhamlet @lukedooly Being able to scale that high means when less is going on your performance is elevated. As I tell people max player count is not the reason basis exits it's just one of the many wins.

The all-star VR cast has come together for load test no. 3 of the @BasisVR Framework. Creators from all sorts of places have shown again, that they are rooting for this critical piece of VR Development.

Well, we did it again - we broke our previous record and achieved 679. Still, there's lots more to do. I have not been this nervous during an event since asking my fiancé to marry me. Appreciate you all. We will try to break 800 in a few months.

We also suffered from allowing all avatars to be downloaded in a single shot instead of staggered loading. Loading hundreds of avatars is not ideal in a single shot.

The issues we ran into were Client crashes: There is more work to do here, but all is solvable. Network bandwidth: Last load test we had, network issues around 800 mb/s After multithreading our outgoing network Changes, it was about 1.8 Gb/s
