@patientled @RTHM_Health accessibility tools that help people read such as beeline reader or bionic reading either. Looks like a nice helpful document but inaccessible to people it's meant for.

@rainbowjanelane That’s how it operates in free mode, so people can see how well it works with their PDFs before buying

@BeeLineReader Every time I tried the PDF tool in Chrome it would only color the first page of a document, never further.

For those of us who struggle with reading I highly recommend Beeline Reader extension. It colors the text and it's surprisingly effective. Been using it for many years, even before LC. Sadly it only works in browsers that allow extensions, won't work with twitter app.

@rainbowjanelane FYI our iOS extension is completely free! We also have a PDF tool for desktop, and more platform integrations in the works!

It's not free but it's cheap and it's more than worth the price in my opinion.

@rainbowjanelane @loscharlos Glad to hear it helps! Hopefully we can support twitter in the future—it used to work here, so should be possible to make it work again!

@BeeLineReader @loscharlos Being able to use beeline on twitter as that's where my long covid/ me/cfs community is would be a MASSIVE help. A lot of the time I miss out on potentially useful info because I just can't read it, beeline would've helped with that.

Hey #LongCovid — this year I’ve been able to tolerate movies more (1-2x a week). They still take me out day after sometimes, but usually can sit through them — however I am still having a really hard time with books/reading for more than 5-10 min. Anything help anybody with this?

@rainbowjanelane @loscharlos We heard the same thing, pre-COVID, from people with CFS. Please let us know if there's any way we can adapt our tech to make it more useful for you

@loscharlos Beeline reader chrome extension has been massively helpful to me. Other than that the only way I'm able to read anything longer than a tweet is using text to speech while I occupy my hands with something else.

@DrFrancesRyan Yes, but vastly improved with the addition of Irlen lenses. I have my lens colour checked at GCU Optometry Dept. Dyslexie font and Beeline Reader app used when reading online, so now prefer reading from a screen. 1/2...

@SinnamonLove Please reach out so we can troubleshoot the PDF issues! The PDF format is itself tricky, but we have some workarounds that can help in a lot of cases. Thanks for helping raise awareness!

@BeeLineReader I have a subscription for both the browser and PDF plugins. The PDF one has been a bit glitchy but I love them both!

I use line readers. Due to my TBI, my eyes jump to the end of the line and move all over the page when I read. Line readers are a great tool to keep the eyes focused. amzn.to/49B2GvK (this link contains affiliate link.)
