It's not Gaza. It's not Lebanon. It's not Iran. It's Ukraine. Sloviansk. russia struck the city with a FAB-1500 bomb. 9 apartment buildings, 8 private homes, and an educational facility were damaged. Just another day of war the world chose to ignore.

Russia has clearly escalated its terror campaign. That likely reflects both battlefield failures and growing pressure at home. The shift from energy infrastructure to civilians is cyclical, we’ve seen it before, and it will likely swing back ahead of winter. But what’s changed is the focus: passenger trains, buses, stations, places of worship, markets. These are deliberate targets now. And the ‘safari’ in Kherson, where civilians are hunted almost daily, is no longer anecdotal, it’s well documented.

I went to the site where a Russian ballistic missile fell in Kyiv. It was part of what Ukrainian officials are calling the deadliest attack in months. On Thursday, Russia launched more than 700 drones and 19 ballistic missiles into Ukraine. Now over 17 people are dead and over 100 are wounded. Earlier this week Zelenskyy traveled across Europe, urging allies to strengthen Ukraine’s air defenses, warning the situation “couldn’t be any worse.”

Wanneer een minister bewust(!) foute(!!) beelden bezorgt aan @HLN_BE om paniek(!!!) te veroorzaken onder burgers om legeraankopen te faciliteren, dan is er een ernstig politiek probleem dat niet weggelachen kan worden. In ernstige democratieën kan zo’n minister niet functioneren.
