It's ironic to see a student celebrating "excellence" while effectively acting as a PR agent for the very debt trap that shackled his peers. He seems to have forgotten that the generation that hiked his tuition fees enjoyed the luxury of free education themselves. After years of his parents pouring their sweat and life savings into him from primary school through the finish line, he chooses his big moment to give all the credit to a government loan company
OLADEPO Caleb Olugbenga@YhungProf0

@NELFUND I'm honored to let you know that I am the Best Graduating Student of @lautechofficial ✨✨ Your loans made it possible • OLADEPO, CALEB OLUGBENGA • B. Tech (First Class: 4.89/5.0) #LAUConvo18th #nelfund

NELFUND is one of the most wicked initiatives of APC. You refused to fund public universities, which have always been free or heavily subsidised. You then started giving loans to students who are not assured of jobs after graduation.

This was his last status, "🎲🎲" He made it to viva and needed less than 6 marks to get a distinction. He was around at least 4 doctors with over 100 medical students with at least a year of clinical experience. He was less than 10 minutes away from the teaching hospital. Yet when it happened, an ambulance came without oxygen or a stretcher. They had to go back to get them. There was no defibrillator in the whole college where over 700 students pay ₦100k each as professional fees every year, apart from school fees. All they could do for him was CPR for over an hour. This country killed his dream and failed his parents. Imagine having to go to class every day with the mindset of knowing each day could be your last. It wasn’t his time. A failed system made it so. He dreamed of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon to spend his life saving hearts, yet ventricular tachycardia took his own. Dreams unfinished. Lives he would have touched, surgeries he would have performed, patients who would have walked out alive because of him, all cut short. Rest in peace 🕊😭

Scary how collapsing amidst fellow medical students, surrounded by 4/5 doctors, roughly 10 minutes away from a teaching hospital still doesn't guarantee you'll survive a cardiac arrest 🕊😭

You removed all Subsidies. Got our highest IGR and also highest borrowings. Yet you are blaming PDP who paid subsidy and left power 11 years ago for your failing to fulfill your promise of Electricity. Tinubu resign, let someone else who won't play blame games get the job done.

Where are the industries established by aregbesola/oyetola/ambo in there 12 years of ruling osun. If you can't do that the keep your mouth shut 4 life.
LEGENDARY J.O.E@LegendaryJoe

MY WORRY OVER OUR DEAR OSUN STATE - 4 YEARS OF DANCING, NO INDUSTRY His Excellency Governor Jackson Adeleke assumed office sometime in November 2022, abi? He is now clearly knocking on the door of his fourth year at the helm - and the door, it would seem, has refused to open to anything of industrial consequence. My worry is this. Within that same stretch of time, every state surrounding our dear State of the Living Spring has attracted at least one major industry. Either freshly planted into fertile soil, or those whose accelerated growth was watered by the deliberate hand of visionary leadership. The Yoruba say, Ilé tó bá dára, àjèjì ló máa ń gbé ibẹ̀ - a house that is well-kept attracts even strangers as tenants. The neighbours of Osun have been keeping their houses well. And the tenants - industries, enterprises, billions in investment - have been arriving at their gates with luggage. Lagos - within the same window, welcomed: Dangote Refinery & Petrochemical Complex Imota Rice Mill A billion-dollar Port & Logistics Infrastructure Isimi Tech Valley Livespot Entertarium… among others. Ogun State: • New Industrial Parks & SEZ Expansion • $2 Billion Garment Factory (Arise IIP)... Among others. Oyo State: • $538 million Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ) Osun: • NONE. NOT ONE. ZERO. NIL. RARA Except ofcos if the upcoming BRED concert can be counted as an industry, afterall the ultimate goal of the people is to be happy and I guess the show offers that, though momentarily. I say this as a man who schooled in Osun. Who served as a teacher on its soil. Who carries in his chest a genuine tenderness for its people - people of industry, of ingenuity, of deep cultural pride - people who deserve far more than the recurring invitation to dance away their sorrows. They deserve infrastructure. They deserve factories. They deserve the kind of investment that outlives political seasons and plants prosperity in the soil their children will inherit. But to every carpenter, every challenge is a nail to be hammered in. To a man whose only talents and experience is dancing, every of his solutions will surely revolve around entertainment. Osun deserves a true leader And entertainers should relish what they know best by remaining on the stage, in the clubs, and at carnivals. The microphone, however golden, is not a blueprint for development. Good Afternoon Severally...
