Pets are your family and yesterday, Lily, the last member of my family passed away. This is my favourite pic of her(on the bottom) with Gus. I will miss her more than words can express. She was my girl and my companion. Losing a beloved pet is heartbreaking. 🥺💔

Today my great grandmother, Lily Ebert, an Auschwitz survivor, turns 99! “I never thought I would survive Auschwitz and have another birthday. At 99, I celebrate to show that the Nazis did not win!” All #HappyBirthdayLily wishes and comments will be passed on to Lily. ❤️

To celebrate “Come Home Year 2022” Friends of Cape St. Mary’s will host our annual Gannet Festival on August 26-27, 2022. Hope to see you there! Many thanks to the NL Department of Tourism for their financial assistance and support.

We are thrilled that our own Rum Ragged will be performing at the Gannet Festival on August 27 (7:30-9:00 pm). Please register on our web page. Must be 19 or older to attend. The location of this event will be announced when registration numbers are known.

They are majorly concerned about PR when you work there - God forbid you make a social media post about working there, and yet they can't even take care of their most senior, most loyal employees when the time comes for them to retire.

My dad worked at IOC/@RioTinto for 35 years. He's been retired since June 1st, and it has been just nightmare after nightmare ever since. He still hasn't received any of his pension, and both he and my mom have inexplicably lost their medical insurance.

Family of 7 Ukrainians coming to NL. Parents are lawyers, 4 kids + grandfather. Girls are figure skaters (4 & 10), boy (8) plays hockey. + Toddler. All at high level & practise daily. Desperately need housing. @AvalonCeltics @SkateNL1
