For the MOU to hold and result in a lasting peace, we must restrict aid to Israel immediately & make it clear that we will not defend them should Iran opt to strike in response to Israel’s attacks in Lebanon.
Israel has not responded to our verbal & written demands—that is not going to change, unless we change it by taking action.
Israel claims sovereignty & continues to threaten our peace deal, yet they rely on us to bail them out. This is calculated.
We have to respond accordingly and stop this cycle once and for all.
Lead with action: remove their leverage, otherwise they will not take us seriously.
An open SOH & peace in the region have to be our focus. Israel is playing spoiler—we must limit their ability to do so.

@StephanAJensen I am actually genuinely interested in how this could have gone better. I really don't see a way.
English

@StephanAJensen What do you think would have led to success? Trump essentially ruled out ground troops from the beginning.
English

And just like that America's former allies in the Middle East realised they need to find some new friends.

Trump says that Iran will retain its ballistic missile force. "They hurt a little location but they dont blow up the planet"
English

@StephanAJensen Pete Hegseth is as dumb as a box of hammers, Stephan. And co-owner of America's greatest strategic defeat. I would be wary of finding merit in anything this used car salesman says.

I've never agreed more with Pete Hegseth on anything.

@CENTCOM Centcom commander and staff should all resign in disgrace for carrying out this shitshow

Today, U.S. forces lifted the blockade on all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports and coastal areas, in accordance with the President's direction. American forces are not impeding the transit of vessels to or from Iranian ports. All U.S. military blockade enforcement efforts have ceased. Our great Naval Ships will remain in the general area to make sure that all aspects of the agreement are adhered to, obeyed and in full force and effect.

@StephanAJensen As an American, I'm hoping that this debacle permanently discredits the warmonger class. We held back nothing except ground troops and nukes and it didn't work. American invincibility is now a myth thanks to Trump. Time to accept that other nations get a say.

@McFaul @Kasparov63 “By losing our entire navy, 13000 targets bombed, entire leadership cadre killed, strangled of all income for 4 months, no Air defenses, continuous surveillance of our important sites….. we won”
-Iran, according to idiots
English

@StephanAJensen But you were cheering this whole idiotic adventure along, weren't you Stephan? The poor Iranian demonstrators and all that nonsense? But never any consequences for the warmonger class, just find a new war to get behind.
English

@StephanAJensen It will be a healthier environment for all involved. Those in the region learn to coexist rather than relying on an outside enforcer. Europeans, take the hint.

@USASOCNews @USArmy Tell us about the failed special op near Isfahan

@aaronjmate Rubio had to stand behind Trump for fifty minutes or so of similar nonsense without reacting. The price of selling your soul.
English

After Rubio blurted out that the US went to war for Israel, the Trump admin pivoted to a new pretext about Iran building some kind of impenetrable Death Star of ballistic missiles. So much for that one. Sounds like Trump is truly done with this war.

Trump says that Iran "has to have" ballistic missiles, adding "what am I going to do? Am I going to let Saudi Arabia have missiles but they can't have them?"

@vonderleyen @POTUS Did you congratulate him on killing all those kids?
English

In Évian, I congratulated @POTUS on his agreement with Iran.
We both agree that it should mean a definitive end to Iran's nuclear programme.
The Strait will reopen.
Oil prices are falling.
And that's how diplomacy delivers.

I have fought the neocons and warmongers in Washington for more than 25 years. Throughout, they have tried to silence, discredit, slander, and cancel me. Only recently, however, have they tried to deport me.
At least, that appears to have been the aim of a hit piece in Bari Weiss’s The Free Press, which claimed that Marco Rubio’s State Department was “investigating” me for allegedly seeking to “undermine the U.S.”—presumably because of my opposition to war with Iran.
Yet just hours later, the State Department issued a statement to reporters clarifying that “the State Department has no plans to revoke the green card of Mr. Parsi at this time.” Nor did it provide any confirmation for the central premise of the Free Press story—that an investigation of me existed in the first place.
So here’s what I think happened.

Great discussion with @MarkJCarney in Evian.
Canada is truly the most European of the non-European countries.
We are working together on digital trade, critical raw materials, and defence.
We are also stepping up our cooperation on energy.
Our next Summit, on 29–30 October in Canada, will be a major milestone in a partnership that continues to grow deeper and broader.

@CENTCOM The US military just unconditionally surrendered to The Islamic Republic.
How utterly humiliating.
