Some thoughts from a 74-year-old who’s been around the block a few times… Don’t waste your prime years drifting. That season of life is a gift—use it to build something that matters. Go to work on yourself. Learn a trade, start a business, take a risk…just don’t sit on the sidelines. Early on, I figured out that if you put yourself around people who are doing bigger things than you, it changes you. You grow faster, you think bigger, and you begin to see what’s truly possible. Be useful, be dependable, and bring value wherever you go—that’s how doors start to open. And here’s something most folks miss: don’t just admire successful people…learn from them, then go out and outwork them. You’ve got more opportunity today than any generation I’ve ever seen, so don’t take that lightly. Build something. Stand for something. And make your years count—just a little wisdom from an old Texas businessman. 🤠
