So much happened at ZuAfrique, the connections, the shifts, the laughter, the aha moments. But what really made it hit different? The Human Layer. Where real people, real stories and real emotions took center stage. Some stories just need to be heard out loud. Tuesday, 10th June, we are hosting an X-space with the residents themselves. ⏰ 2PM GMT | 3PM GMT+1 | 5PM EAT Set your reminder, it’s one you’ll want to be part of.

Once you’ve felt what it’s like to create in freedom, you can’t unfeel it. You don’t go back to business as usual. You build bolder. You collaborate deeper. You think: what else is possible? That’s the energy we’re taking into this new week😎

Because it's a Thursday and I miss these humans really bad 😔, such a time either @codingvaleria or @BridgitKanini would have told us how to be elegant in waiting for salsa Friday 😉😍😜 and the havoc to try find something with flowers 🌻🌹🌺 #TBT #AfricanChild

#ZuAfrique is opening up and experiencing a real mindset shift. We’re building a new framework one rooted in sharing, real human connections, and honest conversations. This week, we're focusing on moving away from an extractive mindset not thinking about what we can take, but about what we can give. As Africans, it's time we start asking ourselves: What can we do for Africa? not just what Africa can do for us. ZuAfrique is more than a popup city event, it’s a new movement. A new human-layer framework for Africans, by Africans.

It's such an honour working with the sisters, I always learn new things during our standup. Everyone is so demure , so professional. ✨💜💜 And we have the best project lead / pm . @BridgitKanini as a pm myself I am learning from her @TechSistersKE @codingvaleria
