100% correct. When I was at the Del Rio, TX Haitian bridge camp in 2021, many of the Haitians told me they had been living in Chile & Brazil for years before coming to the US illegally for economic (not safety) reasons. The Haitians were dumping & tearing up their Chilean documents at the river’s edge hide this fact from the US so it wouldn’t hurt their fraudulent asylum claims. The idea that all these Haitians came directly from Haiti after an earthquake or assassination is false. Many of them were living happily and safely for years in South America until Biden’s open border policies became too attractive to pass up. Others also flew into the US via Biden’s CHNV mass parole program which was supposed to be for only 2 year humanitarian parole grants. Of course, most never left.

Update Time 🙏 We had a full 6-hour Cultural Orientation today, followed by some visitors who came to say goodbye. We also started organising our final steps before the tickets come through. We didn’t get them today… but tomorrow could be one of the best days of our lives. We are praying for it! The orientation covered pre-departure info, the support we can expect in the USA, housing, jobs, public transport, our rights and responsibilities basically everything to help us hit the ground running and stand on our own feet as quickly as possible. It was really informative and gave us clear hints to get our things in order ASAP. If the Lord sees fit, we will be home really soon. I’ve also never seen so many other refugees getting their tickets and attending Cultural Orientation at once. The 10,000 cap is definitely kicking in soon many of us will be safe and sound in the USA! Thank you all for walking this journey with us, for your prayers, love and support. We are so grateful. While I have never disputed the ability of the President to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS), I strongly disagree with ending Haitian TPS at this time. First, the situation on the ground in Haiti is a humanitarian and political disaster and continues to warrant an extension. The State Department has a level 4 travel advisory telling all Americans to evacuate and not travel there precisely because the gangs are in charge of the country, engaged in gun and drug trafficking, and kidnapping innocent Haitians. We want to root it out and allow for a stable government to be establish with a free a fair election, creating the conditions for a safe return for Haitians. Second, of the 350,000+ lawful Haitian TPS holders, roughly 1/3rd work in our healthcare system. Immediately shutting off TPS will create a crisis in our hospitals, nursing homes, and in the I/DD community. I’m asking the administration to allow for an orderly process by which Haitian TPS holders can maintain their work authorization while their immigration cases are adjudicated over the next six months, if the revocation of TPS moves forward. Furthermore, I believe the Senate should take up my legislation with Congresswoman Gillen to temporarily extend Haitian TPS to address these issues.

After the events of yet another eye-opening New York election, it's become clear that mass deportations must be coupled with robust denaturalizations of individuals who are working against America’s interests. Therefore, I am introducing the Remigration Act, a bill that will: denaturalize individuals who commit serious crimes, engage in fraud, and support terrorism. The legislation will also strip legal status from individuals tied to anti-American activity. America is done importing people who hate us. Deport. Denaturalize. Remigrate.
