@EvanDunfee Ok. But. Don't you think 100% of the athletes need the support now!? It seems like this is going to help athletes in 20 years. So I guess in the mean time...it should not help any US athletes right away. That is good for us right now...haha

@CANFUND I think the 20+ years is to let the fund grow, in order to be able to deliver? And then more than 20 years for the other $100,000 (on avg) to be paid. If it’s for 4 games it’s ~1800 athletes so they need $360 million. If assuming 5% growth then they could meet that obligation.

This is so unbelievably life changing for so many USA Olympians and Paralympians! I can’t even begin to imagine how different my life would be if this had been in place in Canada 10 years ago. Any wealthy Canadian want to prove their patriotism by donating $100 million to Team Canada? Or just sponsor me? 🙃
