It's official, finally! And, as of July 1, I'll be #2, that is the 2nd Black woman full (research) professor in the Carnegie Mellon's history 🤸🏿♀️.

#BleachedBlondeBadBuiltButchBody— there is something about repetition and alliteration in insults. A Caribbean version uses the F word similarly. Having been provoked to a culturally-demanded, more dramatic response, a black woman casually took down the “blonde mystique.”

Over the years, it was not unusual for young white students in classes I taught to say that police were friendly to them and react in awe at Black students stories of police abuse. Evidence that state violence cannot suppress anti-war movement so clear #FreePalestine
