At any given moment, there are only a few new assets that command the majority of trading volume & interest onchain. These tend to come and go pretty rapidly.
Solana users should always be able to trade those new assets on Solana the instant they make themselves known, regardless of where on earth they exist.
It has nothing to do with “supporting a memecoin.” It’s about getting users what they want and keeping their assets at home.

Crypto now has almost $15B of Treasury-backed assets that are not just sitting in a private database, but actually circulating onchain.
That is still tiny compared to the actual U.S. Treasury market, which has around $30.9T outstanding, which is a number I can't even fit in my head.
But anyways, it's still roughly 0.05% of the real market being represented in this form, and for crypto, this is already becoming a serious category.
On @RWA_xyz, tokenized treasuries now make up roughly half of all distributed RWA value. And the category is already led by some pretty recognizable names like:

All of them are sitting above $2B.
So IMO, the snapshot shows that one of the biggest RWA categories is becoming more usable onchain, not just more visible onchain.
