Rather than relying on a single source of returns or short-term interest rates, ONyc is built on a dual-source yield structure backed by real-world underwriting and reserve asset income.
Reinsurance Premiums → OnRe assumes risk from primary insurers across property catastrophe and specialty lines. Premiums are paid upfront, fully reserved, and recognized as income over time.
Reserve Assets → Collateral reserves are invested in low-risk, yield-bearing stablecoins and tokenized treasuries, actively managed to optimize yield throughout the underwriting period.
