Can someone please go to Norway and teach the physiologists how to calibrate a metabolic cart. Seems we get dodgy VO2 data every second year with wildly inaccurate values and sensational stories about incredible endurance athletes. Only ever happens in Norway. Bizarre.

"Athletes can feel, but can't see. Coaches can see, but can't feel"
The partnership model between athletes and coaches is the most effective for this reason, and why athletes don't outgrow benefitting from a coach, no matter how much experience is accumulated over time, as there is always value in sharing what can't be seen by the athlete.
