@ryanburge @TheAlanNoble "Without a doubt"? That's gotta rule out an awful lot of genuine believers and church/religious community participators. I'm not sure of potential generational effects of language like that.

Horrible result aside, Saturday’s USMNT/Belgium match was marred by a pair of other issues: hydration breaks in a domed, air conditioned stadium, and uniforms that could barely be told apart.

The problem for #USMNT wasn't necessarily that guys got smoked 1v1 mostly by Doku.
The problem is that we repeatedly got guys who shouldn't be isolated in 1v1 situations with Doku.
Tactical problem and communication problem. Okay, you want your guys to perform better 1v1.

Some luck and bounces, finishing fairie, but the scoreboard indicators of defense held together if barely during his stint and fell apart after.

As I’ve said for a while now, Turner will get a chance to prove he’s the starter. That starts today. I also have believed that a massive X factor, maybe THE factor for this team is if Cardoso from LaLiga shows up for the #USMNT. If that guy plays, this XI and depth looks a lot different before this summer.

@_Zeets Tim Ream, lovely player. It's 2026. And Ream isn't the one getting torched. But guys are getting isolated in places and against players they shouldn't be isolated. And then getting torched. Across the board, not just Doku v Weah.

@_Zeets Defense is so, so weak. Attack can cause problems for opponents if the defense can hold up enough to give them the chance.
It's not one player. It's either all of them or inability to play together.

@_Zeets They should at least have the normal price if you buy it in person more than a week before so locals aren't paying what's effectively a tourist tax.
Everyone has to make money, but the net result is misery and extreme expense for even locals and Americans trying to go.
