This is so strange. It was a role that he played, it doesn’t belong to him permanently. Even in the comics, Black Panther is a title. He unfortunately died and they recast the role and are promoting the new one. You’re not going to forget Chadwick Boseman because of a character.

Then her daughter’s public middle school began receiving Google Chromebooks, which came pre-installed with an all-ages version of Gemini, a suite of A.I. tools. “When my daughter, who is in sixth grade, begins writing an essay, she gets a prompt: ‘Help me write,’ ” Winter writes. “If she is starting work on a slide-show presentation, the prompt is ‘Help me visualize.’ She shoos away these interruptions, but they persist: ‘Help me edit.’ ‘Beautify this slide.’ ” Proponents of generative A.I. in elementary and middle schools argue that such early exposure will foster digital-media literacy, and prepare them for a future in which most professions are steeped in A.I. It’s very clear that part of the deal that they make when they come to MLS is that they don’t have to face any questions. Says a lot about the league that they can demand it but get away with it. Throwing a young player into the failure to answer for failures is irresponsible.

This is baffling. When #NYCFC suffers a difficult home defeat, ALL the players make their way through the mixed zone to the chorus of media; because that’s how it works. They don’t let media into the locker room because there are U-18’s present. I get it. So the mixed zone directly outside the locker room is a happy medium cause EVERYONE has to walk through it. You’ve got World Cup winners in that locker room. Champions League winners. Copa America winners. And you only send out the kids?? It just doesn’t make any sense. And it’s not just this game, fyi. #Messi has spoken to the media maybe 5x since joining in July 2023? Why? They spoke to the media in Europe, why not here? This isn’t just a Miami thing either. Couple teams with European stars pull this same move and hide the DP’s from the media. If the ultimate goal truly is to grow the game in this country, you need to let the media have access to the stars. Look at the NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA. Hell, even the PGA Tour holds field wide pressers each week of a tournament. Forcing the kids to face the music instead of the veterans is messed up in its own right, but it also keeps the recognizable faces to the wider American audiences out of the spotlight, which is a net negative for the #MLS as a whole. 🤷🏻♂️
