Really fascinating early voting numbers in deep red Louisiana. Democrats are voting in equal numbers, far more women, and black votes are 25% nearly meeting their 30% of the population. This all screams enthusiasm. (h/t @No_Jimbo)

I’m devastated. Heartbroken. Angry. I have the utmost respect for the lifetime of service President Biden has given to our country. He didn’t deserve this. However, we cannot capitulate now. The fight to protect our democracy from the existential threat of Trumpism continues. Democracy doesn’t defend itself. If we want this great American experiment to continue on, we must be resolute, disciplined & unwavering in our commitment to defeat Donald Trump. Together we can win. It’s up to us.
