401(k) owners, THIS is why you should be skeptical of target date funds. I saw this Reddit post and it reminded me of my client. He showed me his 401(k) and it was 100% allocated to the Fidelity Freedom 2055 Fund. He figured it would have an appropriate amount of risk for someone 30 years from retirement When we looked under the hood we were shocked at what we saw: It was filled with 11% bonds and cash! On top of that it had a whopping 0.65% expense ratio! This is why target date funds are rarely the best option.. Not only are they usually too conservative for young investors, but they also tend to be more expensive than they need to be. We rebuilt his portfolio for less than half the cost with a few diversified index funds that were appropriate for his risk and time horizon. No bonds, no cash, big win! This is not to say you should never choose a target date fund, but it’s always important to know what you own - allocation and fees.

@sssz_zzz IMO you need to track Sandisk everyday especially their earnings and Fwd PE Ratio but memory demand will likely stay high for a while. Can’t you just get @IBKR and buy $DRAM ? Not financial advice, do your own research

I started buying shares of $SCHD when I was ~ 28 (now 33) I wasted so much time "stock picking" my first few years of investing, instead of stacking tried and true names! Who else has been buying $SCHD for years now?

Ok quick thoughts on Rivian R2 after a quick demo drive: - The woman doing the demo drive was fantastic and honest about the car - It feels far less premium than I was expecting. It feels cheap. It’s fine but cheap. The Model Y feels more premium. I would maybe expect it at $45-49K not really $57K. - Even in sport mode, the performance didn’t feel fast even if it was - The software is great. I love the look and feel. UX needs some tweaks for apps and settings and how you access it all but otherwise great - The drive reminded me of driving my mom’s Honda CRV or Subaru Outback. Its handling and whatnot is fine but didn’t feel like what I was expecting - The car just wasn’t what I was expecting. I still like it but less excited about it. My dad is probably going to cancel his reservation.

@theaiportfolios Also as a Principal PM I can tell you in the software world today, it would make no sense to rebuild service now layer within companies , it just doesn’t make sense, plus the Ai revenue will offset any user seats concerns in the medium term

I have decided to post TFSA Strategy today i will invest $10,000 like this. $5000 in $MUU (2X $MU ETF) $2500 in $DRAM $2500 CASH on hand to buy more $MUU after their earning reports on 24th. I am attaching my TFSA AC here. i have roughly $9000 cash left to add more $MUU after 24th. i wont tell people to invest in something i personally dont invest. NFA, DYOR.

@XCompoundQuiet @Dbot79574694 It’s not about your current age though you said you hit $1m at 30 , but the math is not adding up unless you received parental gifts, inheritance- which IMO is totally fine your life , unless you saying you hit $1m at 34 after investing for 10 years

At 25, I thought $100k invested would change my life. At 30, I crossed $1M. Now my target is $1.5M invested by age 35. I'm a Canadian dad with 2 young kids, a mortgage, and a full-time corporate job. I'm documenting the journey publicly. Let's see where it goes.

@ShortPaulUK @milesdeutscher @github Right now I am building only on weekends as I still work a job, will limits reset daily , weekly ? Co Pilot Pro plan mostly ran models older than Opus and GPT 5.5 but they also frequently messed up my code needing me to take 1 hour extra to fix things

@ChatsFi @milesdeutscher @github Pro is fairly weak, I get about two hours in 5 of actual work before it runs out (but this is largely Opus) On Max 5x I get one agent running pretty much flat out. I think jf you have multiple agents you’ll need to go for Max 20x, but I can’t validate its work that fast

Removing Fable is the greatest marketing stunt of all time. I've never wanted to use this thing so badly. The model "so powerful the government banned it" is one hell of a tagline. Usage numbers are going to be through the roof once it's back online.
