@calleymeans Hey! We did this at Hurlburt Field, FL! I brought in expert chefs (James Beard nominated ones in fact) to train my Services Airmen who work in food. They did a three day culinary training then we showcased their skills to the entire base to prove it can be done

Decades ago, I stumbled into @Clydes to attend an office party of Sen. Ted Kennedy. He was seated in this corner, surrounded by gorgeous women, and so drunk he couldn’t stay awake. 4 yrs later, he ran for President…to much applause. People who revere politicians are fools.

Just finished the 4th round of edits on my book that was due to my publisher. I always read that early starts make the most sense for productivity but for flow state writing it’s always late for me 📗📘📕📙

@MaraDavis Best protocol we have done in my restaurants: (1) inform up front, and then (2) if a table needs to be moved gracefully ask them to move to the bar area and buy their drinks/a nightcap for the inconvenience. Never has failed--hospitality is grace.

Dined out last night, rez 6:30, took 15-20 min 4 drinks, food&vibe excellent. At 8pm server asked if we could wrap it up bc another party was coming. We had just ordered another round of drinks & take out order that hadn't arrived. Our experience was kinda tainted. 1/2
