as of today, me, supremium, tomoeko, and @ShinyQuagsire have "jailbroken" the PSVR2, we can enable HMD vibration and eye tracking camera feed on PC. this has been 5 months in the making, we hope to release this soon so that everyone can play with it. (image from supremium)

PROJECT HAIL MARY IMAX 70MM is breathtaking - right up there with INTERSTELLAR in 70MM. Greig Fraser’s digital to celluloid process looks so good you’d swear he used true IMAX film cameras. Some of the 1.43 images moved me to tears. I’m gonna see this like 5 more times.

HONOR Robot Phone 👀 It’s basically a 200MP gimbal camera, three-axis gimbal, but HONOR is putting in a lot more personality and AI. It can recognize you. Dance to the beat of music. Nod or shape its head in response. Assistant is in the phone. Would you want something like this in your phone?

Why would a UFO use bismuth? It’s about electromagnetism.. Magnesium bismuth is as a high-k dielectric: it can store a lot of electromagnetic charge and discharge it fast. Look at the Biefeld–Brown effect idea: put a high-k dielectric between a negative and positive electrode, and the “thrust” scales with higher dielectric constant. Key detail: it’s has ultra-thin “micron layers,” thinner than a human hair. Layered materials like this (including topological insulators) can produce weird, large scale electrical effects when energized. Even aerospace is exploring them! Episode with Clas drops today.
