For anyone that saw this in IMAX 3D think that the picture was too dark? The Dolby footage at CinemaCon was light years ahead. May need to watch again on a Dolby screen to compare. @imPatrickT what did you think?

@CoreyAtad he loves anamorphic lens flares, but hates shooting anamorphic. i asked Jeff Cronenweth about it, and he said David doesn't like the size of them & the short min focus. i think they're doing some real anamorphic in Cliff Booth though. x.com/imPatrickT/sta…

these flares don't even make sense! the movie was shot on spherical lenses! i know it's small shit, but i hate it

IMAX is exploring selling itself off - a Canadian heritage brand that has not received the attention or investment it deserves - at the peak of a cinematic renaissance -

IMAX is Canadian - Colossus was Famous Players cinema and they were the bigger chain at the time. Cineplex Odeon was a small chain. FP invested in IMAX early and put it in a flagship location. Cineplex inherited that IMAX setup. The best modern digital IMAX is at Scotiabank in Toronto.
