Bought 7 houses off a guy last September and never had to go to one of them yet. Finally got a service call to one of them and the plumbing is hilarious. The old shut offs didn’t work so I cut the pipe off and use a push fitting to a new pex shutoff. This is what a 75K house that brings in 1K a month looks like. Cost me 5K down for this one.

The motel we bought had a managers apartment that was never finished. My sister moved into it and pays $0 in rent and utilities. Here is what the bedroom looks like

People like to debate whether a home is an asset or a liability? But if the home is worth $550,000 & the couple owes $200,000? Their net worth has $350,000 included in it making the home an asset. ...What are we missing?

can someone explain midwest rentals to me? In Nashville you can't buy anything that hits the 1% rule but there is stuff all over the place in MO, IL, etc Why?
