@MichaelPatak @Topstep I have now seen almost 3 seasons of VIP Topstep traders. Always a great topic. What is a true scalper and what are profitable hold times. The data I see most the time is 5-15 minutes depending on market.

Our best traders hold on avg 23mins. But that stat could have changed and I haven’t seen it in over a year so let me get my team sharing some of that. @Topstep ya hear

MP It is amazing to see the transformation of Topstep from the beginning. A couple of my first combine emails from 2010 & 2011. 15 years ago this week. What a journey in trading. Wouldn't trade a second of it.

The volatility has picked up in the markets . Its what most traders asked for but how do you manage it when you get it. The trading pits it was timing and watching price action it but it sure as hell sounded way different. Great feel of the sound and feel of floor.

I got to celebrate my birthday today by playing a little golf with friends. I don't need these rocking chairs just yet. Had a birthday birdie shot 83. Not to bad for not playing in a month. I'm looking forward to VIP traders starting trading their accounts this week.

Really made the effort to touch grass this weekend. I made a trip to Sedona today with a friend to play golf at Oak Creek Country Club. Maybe some of the best views of the red rocks. I am looking forward to a solid trading week.

#POWERHOUR I wanted to share with the Topstep team. I did get away from 6 trading screens and 14 markets this weekend. Played golf in Sedona. Red rock views are spectacular here. Think it helped me in my trading up 1100$ in my combine.

I have been around the commodity world most of my life. Whether it was summers on my grandparents' farm in central Illnois or on the floor of the CME. The journey has been long and educational for me. There have been highs and lows, just like many traders over the years. Be accountable for yourself. Take small wins as growth as a trader. I have attached some last words of Steve Jobs. Use your time wisely. I had a small win almost 15 years ago with Topstep in a combine. Build on your wins. Mental capital is huge in this space. It's not all about the bling. Success is measured in many ways.

Well, for me, the 4th of July was mixed . Put my chefs hat on and smoked a brisket and made some cobbler. Did some trading . I passed a 100k combine. The evaluation wasn't as good on the brisket, which looked great on outside inside a little dry. I guess I keep jabbing on the brisket. Lol.

I was glad to finish making a small contribution to the American Cancer Society by finishing up the month log dog walk challenge. It meant I also got to share a contribution to fight cancer with one of my fellow coaches. Dakota, we all send our best to your sister.

#POWERHOUR Range bound summer trade and the heat is kicking up it AZ. I see it is hotter in Az than Riyad, Saudi Ariba. Don't cry for me, Mo. 35 years ago last week AZ recorded 122. That's cooking. Up $720 I am done like dinner .

Is it really only Wednesday. What a jam-packed week so far. Still going tonight 1000 lot in ES? I got to do slow markets with Anne Marie yesterday. Put up 3500$ in my combine in two days. Maybe I can get another Lambo.. Sorry, mispelled meant Camraro pic from 1983. Lol
