Stop using prop firms I’ll admit - it takes longer to build a $1m trading account than it would to get $1m in funding But it’s so much better in every way You don’t get your payouts “rejected” You don’t need to spend weeks grinding evals - you just make profit on your account from the start You have total freedom on what you want to do with your money I get it - prop firms seem easy But the % chance of you making it with trading is already pretty low - the % of people who make consistent prop firm payouts is even LOWER You’re making it more difficult for yourself for no real reason

@CoachDBA @j_intradaytrade I do agree, I think it was Hoag who used the balance beam analogy, it's all the same, just hurts more when you fall. But I tell people if you can't pass a paper account you won't really pass or last long in combines/funded accounts.

@Tivs @j_intradaytrade Doesnt really duplicate the emotional or psychological side of making money though. I can argue its easy to do it in practice. But when a payout or real $ is on the line, it changes everything.

@CoachDBA @j_intradaytrade Or spend no money and setup your paper trading account like a prop account and set a goal, if you can pass 2/3 of the time then open a prop account. No reason to spend money if you can't pass paper ^^
