Sophomore baseball player Hari Santhanam came out for track and field this year and I’m glad he did as he is a stud athlete! He jumped 19’11.75” to take home 5th place. Selfishly I hope he quits baseball to do track but love to see athletes competing!

Junior Kim Aviles had never jumped over 40 feet and wasn’t in our conference lineup but the day before, we put him in and he jumped a huge PR of 41’7” taking home 7th place in a competitive field at DVC Conference. More to come outdoors!

Huge series last night from Junior Matt Russo. Seeded 12th going in DVC and delivered much needed points for the team. PR before meet: 13.39m(43’11) Made finals with a 13.88m. Every throw in finals was over 14m! Finished w/ 14.83m(48’8) toss and finished 4th! @CoachStackNCHS

Chad Earl kicked off his season with a great effort in the 400m to run 52.34 at the Naperville Central Intrasquad!

@DrBrianDamhoff Coach he does know the answer - ask questions, be coachable, and put in the reps! Jack has be a champion at those three things that he controls!

Last year at our intra-squad meet, Jack Littig jumped 15’8”
This year? 20’5.75” He told me the other day, “Coach, I don’t know how to be good—I’ve never been good at anything.” Jack… you’re going to be great this season!

At the Naperville Central Intrasquad Meet, junior Derek Williamson kicked his season off with a 4:30 win in the 1600m!

Junior Ben Blank, state qualifier last year in shot put and discus as a sophomore, wins our standing triple jump test with an absurd 31’5” and broad jump at 10’3”, going to be a big year for him!
