Junior Kim Aviles had never jumped over 40 feet and wasn’t in our conference lineup but the day before, we put him in and he jumped a huge PR of 41’7” taking home 7th place in a competitive field at DVC Conference. More to come outdoors!

Junior Kim Aviles on his last jump of the competition PR’s by almost 4 feet going 39’3.25”! He is soaking up the technical aspects of triple jump and I have no doubt 40 feet is coming soon!

Sophomore baseball player Hari Santhanam came out for track and field this year and I’m glad he did as he is a stud athlete! He jumped 19’11.75” to take home 5th place. Selfishly I hope he quits baseball to do track but love to see athletes competing!
