@S26PHY My brain has still exploded 🤣 luckily I’m back on 170’s and 158’s to Crewe next week.

@CraigNeild Ooh, exciting times though! I think if I'd have come off freight straight to 800s my brain may have exploded 🤣

What a week…
Mentally, it’s been a lot!
The kind of week where imposter syndrome creeps in loud, making you question everything you thought you knew about yourself.
Going from being the person who knew anything worth knowing about a Class 66, to feeling like the one scrambling to keep up in a 222 was honestly humbling… and pretty overwhelming.
@heather_waugh delivered the training perfectly. Having someone you admire by your side in those moments makes all the difference, and her being there as I moved my first ever 222 made that full-circle milestone even more poignant. Yes, I cried. Again 🥹😭
I’m still exhausted. Still processing. But also proud, because showing up when you feel like you’re not enough is no small thing, and I need to remember that.
Imposter syndrome might have been loud this week… but it didn’t win 💙🩵

I know absolutely nothing about football finance but that is a huge loss every week. Grateful for the Shanahans for their backing because without them, we are out of business. There’s got to be something done to make it more sustainable in the long term

Port Vale lost £6.1m in 24/25, when the club finished 2nd in League Two. That works out at £117,000 a week...in League Two. This takes total losses to over £17m from when the company that currently owns teh club was formed in 2014 The club's losses were underwritten by a £19.6m loan from owners.

@reformparty_uk Thought politics were supposed to be kept out of football?

@floboflo Where’s the giant inflatable Easter bunny? What a disc race

@bushontheradio Bread and butter pudding. Dense as concrete but delicious

@TowersStreet @altontowers Don’t understand why they’ve allowed it to get like this. When I worked there, all of the maintenance was done over the winter, had great fun adding and removing the minetrain as well as the filthiest job in the world; replacing the rapids conveyor chains. Such a shame

It seems that Oblivion may be closed for some time, as it has now been added to the ride availability page on the @altontowers website, along with the Runaway Mine Train, Skyride, Monorail, Battle Galleons and Congo River Rapids which have yet to open for the 2026 season.

My daughters football team had not scored a single goal all season. Today it finally clicked and they won 4-1. So happy for them all as they have worked so hard in every game. Here’s hoping @OfficialPVFC can overcome Bolton against the odds this afternoon.
English

@MasculinityAce I’m yet to find a plumber that can turn up on time. That’s the biggest lie.
English

@OfficialPVFC Sums our season up perfectly. Look good going forward, terrible defensively and when we look good defensively, we struggle in attack. Roll on next season.

@PolitlcsUK Bet he had an opinion different to this when Gary Lineker was accused of something similar

@NotFarLeftAtAll Got to be Ai, no parent would film this rather than attend to their child, and definitely wouldn’t post their most vulnerable moment on the internet for all to see.

@TowersStreet @davidwalliams Is the sign meant to be that filthy?

@JonathanPieNews All while complaining about the lack of staff and endorsing a candidate who wants to automate everything and get rid of staff. Brilliant.
