All new teachers will have to undergo training in how to use assistive technology to support children with SEND, @educationgovuk announced today as part of wider plans for the use of tech in education tes.com/magazine/news/…

@MBDscience I would focus on the maths in physics. Get them practicing how to answer calculations questions. Give them a structure to succeed and they will outperform expectations.

Advice needed: What would you do if you taught a very low attaining year 11 class who have incredibly poor recall of prior topics and very low resilience? NB: The answer cannot be "more retrieval practice".

Back at @education_uw today for ITaP week. Students are planning lessons to incorporate talk for learning.
