Notable update here: FBS Oversight Committee is proposing a rule change that would allow North Dakota State and Sacramento State to play in bowl games in 2026 if bowl eligible.

Notable: A new proposal by the FBS oversight committee would allow FCS-FBS transition teams to be eligible for bowl games right away at 6-6, rather than having to wait a year or two. Would apply for NDSU and Sac State if advanced and approved in the summer.

#BREAKING: Louisiana Tech has announced during a joint press conference that the Bulldogs will move forward with playing all 20 scheduled Conference USA and Sun Belt games. The Nov. 7 and Nov. 28 dates remain unresolved and will be addressed at a later time.

It's time to unveil my radical, insane and irresponsible plan to save College Football. My Dream Conference Realignment.
College Football will be organized into 9 Power Conferences (and 3 ind.), each of which will have 8 permanent members.
Each conference will have 2 flex spots, which any given season will be filled by 2 teams promoted from the "feeder leagues" based on a rolling 2 or 3 year criteria.
