The quoted post shows a simplistic view of fairness, and avoids understanding the difference between equality and equity. We don't all give the same cos we can't. We don't all get the same cos we don't all need the same. The image below shows what fairness might look like.

If taxes were fair: You earn $100,000 per year and pay $30,000 in tax. Your neighbor earns $1,000,000 and pays $300,000 in tax. Your neighbor is paying 10X more than you. If taxes were fair, you should both pay $30,000, since you both receive the same government services.

@BiggChab He'd be 68 and retired if he were alive. But he was transcendent before his death. People paying attention to him now would have come after he died anyway, just later. Modern artists can't drop "They don't care about us" or "Earth song". Their labels wouldn't allow it.

Mbappe is 27 years old. He'll be 28 this year. What's Real Madrid's route back to the summit of European football? They need players in so many positions, and they need to figure out Mbappe and Vinicius. That's 2/3 seasons at least.

I bet Mbappe will never win the Champions League as a player. I know. That's some big talk, but his career route seems to suggest that if it happens, it's years away. Should he join Real Madrid this summer, they will still need to replace Modric and Kroos at some point. With who?
