Michael was literally the most non political person as you’re going to find on the planet. He HATED politics. And he made it quite clear throughout his life. He was the most inclusive artist on the entire planet. And judging from how diverse his base is and was, he won.

Highest grossing doesn’t mean anything with inflation. The WWE also inflates their numbers even when their volume of attendees are much lower. It’s a trick as old as the day is long. Not a knock on Taylor. But context absolutely matters.

Taylor has the highest grossing tour ever, Michael’s highest attendance to a tour is 4M+ while Taylor’s is 10M+. Michael had a 43K per show average while Taylor had 67K per show average. I’m not discrediting him at all but it’s clear Taylor is better than him in certain aspects and you can’t deny that.
