I often think about the fact that the whole Gaza Strip is only about as long & half as wide as the San Fernando Valley here in LA, but with about 20% higher population (pre-ethnic cleansing anyway). Israel has inflicted so much death & destruction in such a small place

@Jessecooksfood I saw Perfect Blue when it premiered at an NYC anime con around 2001 or so and he was present there. While I had seen a lot of anime before, I never saw something quite like that. I didn't realize how incredibly lucky of an experience that was until I had seen more of his work.
