I accompanied a male friend to visit his fiancée’s parents in Rivers State for their marriage introduction.
The first thing, the guy was told to do is to present one life big goat to the family for damages done to the girl.
I ask the guy quietly, she get belle..my friend said NO.

I now ask will you pay this goat, he said yes na...na their culture, as na me chop her last..I go pay for all the damages. That he is aware.
He paid the goat for damages done to the girl.
