Barely anyone got to play alpha, can we stop with the sensationalism? I’m over here ready to buy 10 copies of marathon. Why? Cuz a Bungie PvP FPS that’s quick to drop in and out of with buddies is actually EXACTLY what players like me are looking for. Since the Halo days, ZERO games have come close to the multiplayer experience of Halo 3, Reach etc. Marathon might not be exactly what I or others want but I’m certainly willing to give them a chance. Destiny IS a great franchise, but it’s too much to keep up with / sink time into. Destiny 3 will not help with that problem. Bungie is right to pursue a game that competes with the likes of Valorant / Apex / Overwatch etc. Extraction Shooter wouldn’t be my first choice, but if anyone can make the genre accessible it’s Bungie. What is with this desire from everyone to stomp on a game that hasn’t even released to the public yet? And I’m sorry, Arc Raiders looks great but Halo & Destiny fans do not give a shit about a 3rd person FPS.
