@ImSoBrexcited @plantnerd17 @UKpbr2 @g_gosden Encouraging an act of terror (which you are not arguing didn’t happen) has a 15 year maximum sentence. I’d argue anyone who didn’t leave was encouraging the act of terror that took place. He didn’t leave. He pled guilty. It’s sad he died, but FAFO.

@DaveScoff @plantnerd17 @UKpbr2 @g_gosden Er, the man in question did not do any of those things though so, clearly you don't know anything about this case either! Can you people please make the small effort of learning something about what you're commenting on (take just two minutes doing that, perhaps), before posting.

@EddieGrail2 @UKpbr2 @g_gosden It’s funny how those of us living close to the hotel weren’t terrorised though. I go past there most weeks and am more intimidated by the drunken white men in spoons than young brown men who hung out outside the hotel.

@UKpbr2 @g_gosden The hotel was full of young men who for the last few years have been terrorising the area and those living close by, John Healey even brought it up in parliament a year ago, asking for the hotel to be closed to migrants and return to being a hotel johnhealeymp.co.uk/mp-in-new-batt…

@ImSoBrexcited @plantnerd17 @UKpbr2 @g_gosden Terrorist. Legally defined as one who uses an act of (or threat of) violence against a person or damage to a property to influence a government for an ideological cause. ELI5 How setting fire to a hotel doesn’t qualify as terrorism under that definition.

@plantnerd17 @UKpbr2 @g_gosden So, you have no clue about the case and no notion of the term terrorist. Kids like you make utter fools of society and feel no shame for your vile cult of hatred.

@UKpbr2 @g_gosden He participated (by attending) and encouraged an act of terror designed to influence the government to change policy. He was lucky not to be charged under the terrorism act 2006 and facing a maximum of 15 years.

@ComradeChooChoo @sf_bac1862 @HenryRiley1 @LBC Tokyo to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto is ~900km and takes slightly over 4 hours. Its currently extending towards Sapporo. The equivalent journey is London to Aberdeen, which takes over 7 hours. Our ambitions should be 3-4 hours maximum for that journey.

@sf_bac1862 @HenryRiley1 @LBC And make it proper high speed. London to Leeds/Manchester/Liverpool/Sheffield should be under 1 hour. Birmingham 30 minutes to any of them. (The Hayabusa service between Tokyo and Hokuto achieves these speeds)

@TateTheTalisman @FreddieBailey96 TBF, someone born here is more British that you are seeing as you were born in Chicago. And he isn't under investigation for human trafficking and sex crimes, so he probably does exhibit more British values than you too.

He’s British on a technicality yes. But his ancestors aren’t from England. Maybe politicians should be able to trace ancestors 4 generations back? Then men who build England wouldn’t have wanted to concede control to foreigners. I say this as a half black man. Many countries work this way, you are not becoming a Chinese Japanese or Thai politician as a black man born there to foreign parents.

@localnotail TBH, if Trump wins, his second term will be limited as they oust him to bring in Vance - who is very involved in P25 and in hock to those behind it.

Heritage's Project 2025 is an oven-ready policy & administration package that comes with 20,000 staff ready & eager to deliver on those 900 pages of Conservative think tank plans. Who believes Donald Trump will say no way, I'm ignoring these people, gonna arrange my own staff!

Most of the time when I post something about the Donald Trump-backing Heritage Foundation and their Project 2025, I get MAGA people telling me that he doesn't know anything about it and he's not associated with it - it's not his plan. And, in one way, that's true. He's clueless

When you have a globalist agenda, cause the problem, then the Labour government point at those and call them far right when they highlight the problem you know democracy doesn't exist unless the Globalists didn't think a Reform like party would ever make the vote and that trajectory is taking shape. Watch what happens if they ever look like a real threat to power.

@Undertaker1895 @NotaTory67 @LBC @BorisJohnson That depends on what you mean by rollout. Did the UK start faster - yes. Was it overtaken before the end - also yes. And it also depends by country. Some - Germany, France, Ireland & Sweden - vaccinated at around the same rate. Others - Hungary, Poland - were behind.
