@LordNawias @springmarbles it's much better when artist intentionally tries to make a character ugly than when it's supposed to be pretty but proportions are wrong. I like shuusaku a lot for this reason

@DeltaWok @springmarbles Also sometimes they just go full on trying to make the ugliest bastard possible, usually for like rape or NTR angle (though more usually as a supporting character like Kinnison than MC like Shuusaku)

@LordNawias @springmarbles Honestly it's harder to find a protag who is ugly than a pretty one. Ugly ones ususally don't have a CG or a sprite

@springmarbles All of them are objectively not ugly, Fuminori fits really well into Saya no Uta, and even outside of OPs examples there's just a lot of good looking guys in various eroges
