@SusieM414141 So are they arresting her for doing that to the ticket or for fraud becasue of the attempt to cash an altered ticket? Because if they scan the barcode it’s going to say not a winner go kick rocks. I don’t understand how anyone can alter a scratch off. They all have a barcode.

She won the lottery—or did she?
This woman is being questioned by law enforcement about her million-dollar winning lottery ticket. It seems she may have something to hide regarding it. She claims she had to tape it back together because it got wet. But the authorities say it’s two different tickets taped together. Does this lottery bandit admit to her wrongdoings? We’ll see!

@Angrybearfilms2 @Rainmaker1973 You've gotta be AI writing that much in reply to a stupid post like this.
English

@Rainmaker1973 Are those the "only" three options, or just items that are available? If you are not "required" to use those items, and it's a modern tub, the quickest way to empty it is the existing drain. Context matters.

@BrianWalkerMLC The arrogance of this man to post a painting of himself, even if AI, shows what he is all about. Of course he puts Dr in front of his name in his profile too, is anyone suprised. Ridiculous
English

@ronkean @AntiLeftMemes One more time and that's it cause I'm not convinced you're not AI. Why does he have to show his ID? You still haven't answered it. End

@DeucerT @AntiLeftMemes It costs him nothing. It’s easy to do. It’s no physical effort. And he can demonstrate he’s a law abiding citizen. The alternative is an argument and a fight, which is exactly opposite of why he went out there in the first place.
English

@DeucerT @AntiLeftMemes The man wakes up early and wants peace on a bench with a view. Police ask who he is and now he wants an argument. He wants to resist. It's unnecessary ill feelings. He could have made friends with them. Everything could have gone smoothly and friendly.

First images from the scene are now circulating in Taiwanese business chat groups in Cambodia. Lin Bingwen, Taiwan’s “Billion-Dollar Gambling King” and a fugitive in the $680 million 88 Club money laundering case, was gunned down outside his Sihanoukville residence Sunday night. He took 29 bullets, five to the head. He normally traveled with three bodyguards but was alone walking his dog when the shooters caught him. CCTV showed a black car had been tailing him for days. Two suspects arrested so far.

@xegisunowoumsyq @IRANinKabul I don't have a dog in the fight but you can't seriously say anyone but trump is playing brinkmanship. What a sad take.
English

@IRANinKabul Calling diplomacy a “retreat” is exactly the kind of thinking that keeps your people trapped in a cycle of escalation.
Brinkmanship won’t work in your favor.
Spinning this as a victory is delusion and guarantees the next crisis has no off-ramp.
Ordinary Iranians pay the price.

This says a lot about society right now…
A woman in a hospital, with her husband right there, still tripping and putting even her unborn baby at risk. It’s the kind of moment that makes you stop and question everything.
Some situations go way beyond poor judgment and raise serious concerns.
Do you think this reflects a bigger issue with responsibility today, or is this just one situation taken too far?
English

@High_1Q @DoctorLemma Who the fuck wants to be famous? Are you serious? Troll
English

@DoctorLemma Literally are there people who hate being famous??? And earning a lot?

11 years ago, a 16-year-old kid was bagging groceries at a supermarket when a customer took his photo without him knowing and posted it online.
Alex Lee started his shift on 2 November 2014 with 144 Twitter followers. By the time his mum picked him up from work that evening, he had 100,000. By the next morning, 300,000. His phone number was leaked and the notifications crashed it completely. Within days, #AlexFromTarget was the number one trending topic on the platform. Girls showed up at his store in groups. A man offered his co-workers a hundred dollars to find out where he was. His manager moved him to the stockroom to finish his shift.
His family’s personal and financial records were leaked online. His girlfriend, who he’d met in chemistry class two weeks earlier, started receiving threats from strangers. He appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show, was flown across the country for appearances, and eventually had to leave school because of it all.
The day he turned 18 he moved cities to try to build a career in social media. He hated it. One manager took control of his accounts. Another allegedly stole over $30,000 from him. He fired them both and quit the internet entirely.
He’s 27 now. Lives with his girlfriend, loads trucks at a delivery depot in the mornings, and has no public social media presence. In 2024 he said the job pays less but he’s a lot happier. “I never wanted to be ‘Alex from Target.’ Absolutely not.”

FATHER OF FOUR ـFATALLY ـSHOT DURING CONFRONTATION IN CALIFORNIA
New cellphone video shows the tense confrontation in a ـshooting in North County that left a 40-year-old father of four dead and another man wounded.
Family members identified the man who was ـkilled as Martin Lucas, 40. Investigators say he was ـshot Monday by Michael Burke, 70, during a confrontation on a private road in Fallbrook.
Lucas' daughter, Martina Lucas, said her father was a devoted parent who always made time for his family.
"My dad was always there for us on our birthdays, on Christmas, on New Year's," she said. "My dad was my best friend."
According to the family, Lucas was driving a pickup truck and heading home after helping a friend with a landscaping job when the confrontation occurred.
Cellphone video recorded by a bystander captures portions of the encounter, though it has been edited and does not show the full context of what led to the argument.
In the video, Burke can be heard yelling toward the truck.
"You want to die today? I will kill you," a man believed to be Burke says.
The footage appears to show Burke placing a long gun through the passenger-side window as he argues with a man in the passenger seat, who Martina Lucas said was her father's friend. A struggle appears to follow.
Moments later, ـagunshot rings out and the truck begins rolling slowly downhill toward East Mission Road.
Martina Lucas said both her father and his friend were struck by gunfire.
"He ـkilled my father, like he was an animal," she said. "My dad didn't deserve that."
After the ـshot is fired, the video shows Burke yelling toward the vehicle from the road before the recording ends.
According to a property owner along the gated private road where the ـshooting occurred, Burke lives in a mobile home on the property and works there as a caretaker.
Larry Cinnamon, a Fallbrook resident who said he has known Burke for about a decade, said the accusations surprised him.
"That's not like Mike at all. He's not an aggressive person," Cinnamon said.
Cinnamon said he did not know the circumstances of the ـshooting but believes Burke may have been trying to protect the property from trespassers.
The second man who was ـshot was treated and released from a nearby hospital, authorities said.
Meanwhile, Lucas' family has created an online fundraiser to help pay for funeral expenses.
"I really hope the guy stays in jail, that he rots in there, that he never comes out," Martina Lucas said.
Burke faces multiple charges, including first-degree ـmurder.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
