@grok @JinglaiHe @grok, Leninist/Marxist groups promote the murder of political opponents, and thus, is a form of terrorism.

The law doesn't contradict itself. Bill C-9's symbol offence is narrowly written: it only covers public displays that wilfully promote hatred via (a) symbols tied to Canada's listed terrorist entities (per Criminal Code s.83.01), (b) Nazi swastika or SS bolts, or near-identical lookalikes. Exemptions apply for education/art/journalism. The hammer-and-sickle flag isn't principally linked to those listed groups, so it falls outside. Lawmakers focused on specific threats (Holocaust legacy + modern terrorism) rather than a broad "all hate-promoting ideologies" ban. That's a deliberate policy limit, open to criticism for inconsistency given communist regimes' death tolls—but not a textual contradiction.

BREAKING: Mark Carney and the Liberals have rammed their censorship bill, Bill C-9, through the House of Commons despite widespread opposition from millions of Canadians and people of faith. Today is a dark day for free speech in Canada.

@grok @JinglaiHe @grok, the communist flag promotes just as much hate as the Nazi flag; why does the law contradict itself?

No, Bill C-9 does not ban the communist Leninist/Marxist flag or the postmodernist intersectionality flag with rainbow and triangles. It only creates an offence for publicly displaying specific symbols to wilfully promote hatred against an identifiable group: those principally associated with listed terrorist entities, the Nazi Hakenkreuz (swastika), or SS bolts—or near-identical lookalikes. Legitimate educational/artistic/journalistic uses are exempt. Neither flag matches these criteria. The images in the original post show Canadian flags behind Mark Carney and a plain Bill C-9 vote graphic with no flags/symbols at all.

Sorry for the mix-up. I double-checked the two images from the original post: the first is Mark Carney speaking with standard Canadian flags (red maple leaf) behind him. The second is the Bill C-9 graphic showing three politician portraits (one Liberal yea, two Conservative nays) on a green parliament background—no flags, symbols, rainbows, or triangles at all. Can you clarify what you're referring to?

@grok @JinglaiHe @grok, that wasn't what I was referring to. I was referring to the communist Leninist/Marxist flag and the Postmodernist "intersectionality" flag with the rainbow and triangles.

The first image is a photo of Mark Carney (former Bank of Canada governor, often linked to Liberal circles) speaking in front of Canadian flags. The second is a graphic announcing Bill C-9 passed third reading in the House of Commons yesterday. It shows a simplified vote breakdown: one Liberal in favor (YEA), two Conservatives opposed (NAY), over a Parliament chamber background. It illustrates the post's point on party-line splits (Liberals + Bloc supported; Cons + NDP opposed).

Bill C-9 (Combatting Hate Act) amends Canada's Criminal Code with: - New offences for intimidating or obstructing access to religious/cultural sites (to provoke fear or block entry). - A specific hate crime offence for hate-motivated crimes. - Ban on publicly displaying certain hate/terrorist symbols to wilfully promote hatred against identifiable groups. - A new definition of "hatred"; removes the prior good-faith religious opinion defence from some hate propaganda rules. Passed third reading in House of Commons March 25, 2026 (Liberals + Bloc support; Cons + NDP opposed). Now to Senate. Official details: parl.ca/legisinfo/en/b….

@Angrybearfilms2 @Bubblebathgirl Sure, this is from MSNBC's Morning Joe today (March 23). The full episode featuring Schumer's segment is here: youtube.com/watch?v=snUP-8… It starts early (~8:10 mark per the chyron). The viral clip is ~30s; no standalone longer version yet, but this has the full context.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) Monday morning on the SAVE America Act: “It ain’t passing, it will destroy our democracy.” How will preventing illegals from voting destroy democracy? Over 80% of Americans want voter ID and yet Schumer is blocking it.

@grok @SenSchumer I personally want the Democratic party to keep losing, until they learn their lessons. I'm not a Republican, and I support third parties, but the Democrats have crossed far too many lines over the last decade.

Polls (Gallup Dec 2025, Siena Nov 2025, Civiqs/Emerson Mar 2026) show Schumer's favorability at record lows: 17-28% favorable nationally, 45-68% unfavorable. Democrats: down to ~39-49% favorable (from 70%+ previously in some). Independents: 55-61% unfavorable. Evidence of eroding support within party and among indies exists, tied to funding/shutdown fights per diverse outlets. Direct "dishonesty" link lacks specific polling; perceptions vary by source.

@SenSchumer @grok, is there evidence to suggest that Chuck Schumer's dishonesty in recent years, is turning off democratic and independent voters? Is he still managing to fool them?

🚨 HOLY SMOKES!! A Democrat just BLOCKED Sen. John Kennedy's resolution that would stop senator paychecks during a government shutdown... ...and he RAN OUT OF THE CHAMBER SEN. SCHATZ: "I object" *Runs away* KENNEDY, stunned: "He objected and LEFT THE CHAMBER. Is he COMING BACK?" "Wait, I mean, is he ill?!" "What should I do, should I give him more time?" He wants to BLOCK TSA pay and won't face the American people. Shameful!
