Scattered snow showers tonight into Sunday have nothing to do with the storm. Full update in the morning and I’ll make final tweaks to my snowfall map. But no significant changes to what I’ve been discussing…A widespread 1-2 feet is coming across SNE with wind gusts 45-65mph + along with beach erosion and coastal flooding across eastern MA and LI Sound. Numerous power outages likely that could last several days. Snow moves in from the south after 5pm tomorrow, ramps up quick tomorrow night and tapers down later Monday. 1-3”+ per hour snowfall rates are likely Monday am making travel pretty darn close to impossible. Himes: ABC, which is owned by Disney, took Jimmy Kimmel off the air because Brendan Carr, the chairman of the FCC, didn’t like some things Kimmel said on TV. I’m talking to you now because I’m just getting so damn sick of people who claim to be for free speech but turn out to only support free speech for people they agree with. The point of this country is to allow every American to articulate their beliefs without fear of reprisal. I’m not at all surprised that Brendan Carr said what he did. This administration has shown it only cares about the free speech of people it agrees with. What does surprise me—just a little—is watching corporation after corporation, law firm after law firm, and university after university cave. And now ABC and Disney caved. It’s time to start defending people’s right to say what they want—especially when what they say is obnoxious. That’s the whole point. And it’s time to start holding people like ABC, Disney, and Brendan Carr accountable.

What an unbelievable performance by Emmet Sheehan in a playoff-like game against the Phillies. 5.2 IP 1 H (pitched 5.2 no-hit innings) 1 ER 3 BB 7 K 13 whiffs His season ERA is 3.17. He's going to play such a big role for the Dodgers come October.
