@GuySports420 @maltese_falcon1 I actually haven't had a lot of Haagen-Dazs because I'm more of a half gallon guy (or whatever passes for a half gallon nowadays). But I also don't drink coffee, so I doubt you could get me on board with that one.

@CBSScottWhite @maltese_falcon1 Appreciate the context, Scott. One last question: thoughts on Häagen-Dazs coffee, coffee ice cream in general? It’s pretty elite imho.

@trevfreeze @Andrew_FBB You do realize PCA was like my most drafted player and is currently eighth in my outfield rankings, right? You act like I think he sucks. Learn to enjoy nuance.

@Andrew_FBB Thanks for owning up. It’s refreshing. Too many in the fantasy industry have a hard time saying they were wrong about PCA and are convinced he’s still last year’s version. @CBSScottWhite

Pete Crow-Armstrong proved me wrong. His improvements with his plate discipline have been significant. Since May 1st he lowered his O-Swing% to 30 compared to his career 39 O-Swing% and the results have been remarkable. 180 wRC+ w/ an ELITE glove.

@GuySports420 @maltese_falcon1 He's got like a 35 percent strikeout rate at Double-A, so it's kind of a Spencer Jones situation. I still *almost* put Andrew Fischer in, so you can go ahead and consider him top 60 or, at worst, 75.

@CBSScottWhite @maltese_falcon1 I was coming for the same player lol. I assumed he would be in the top 20 given he is leading all of professional baseball in OPS (i think that’s still true) and actually has a good shot at getting the call. So curious why he didn’t make cut, let alone get ranked high.

@GeezeeGolf I don't think it would have been illegal if you kept Langford on the IL because rosters had already locked for that day.

@CBSScottWhite Scott it makes zero sense that either way I get no points for today because I don’t know Wyatt Langford personally enough to tell me he’s coming off il after the 1 o clock games started. I don’t move him off il and it’s illegal, I drop someone to make room and it’s illegal

So if you dropped Jump after the first game of the day had started (1 o'clock, you say), it won't apply that move until tomorrow. But it will let you move Langford into your lineup as long as the Rangers' own game hasn't started yet. Activating Langford today when no drop is being made until tomorrow leaves you with an illegal lineup. It's the difference between a roster-level move and a lineup-level move. Roster-level moves (like drops) lock with the first game of the scoring period, regardless of which team is playing. Lineup-level moves (like activations) are tied to the player's individual team. You might say "that sucks," and I don't necessarily love it either. But that's the way it's programmed. Once the daily slate has started, you shouldn't make any moves that would require you to drop a player to keep your lineup legal. Hopefully, you have a forgiving commissioner that will understand the nature of the mistake and correct it for you. Forgiving commissioners are the best!

@CBSScottWhite we do daily scoring as we came from yahoo and you guys have more dynasty options. I do understand that part, but there’s games at 1 clock that started, hours later the rangers reinstate Langford from il (which is an illegal lineup), so I dropped gage jump to make enough room

People often confuse when rosters lock and when individual players lock. Rosters lock with the first game of the scoring period, meaning that any drops made after then will apply to the next scoring period. Individual players lock with his own team's first game of the scoring period, meaning you can move them in and out of your lineup until then (but not drop him unless his team's first game happens to be *the* first game). My No. 1 task as a commissioner in CBS leagues is to explain this distinction to people. I'm not sure I do it well because I keep having to clean up their messes anyway. 😂

@CBSScottWhite Scott why in the world does cbs say I have an illegal roster when I brought Langford off il as soon as the rangers did and dropped gage jump before he even played? Makes 0 sense and the app costs $200 for some reason…

A year ago, my LDL came in at 126, and I realized I couldn't eat like I was 17 anymore. Today, it came in at 76. I think I'll have a bowl of ice cream.

I prefer ham to turkey, and it comes in low enough. If we have slices of partial skim mozzarella on hand, I'll add that. Otherwise, no cheese. Potato chips aren't terrible if you stick to the serving, but Sun Chips will save me a gram if we have those on hand. Other favorites include ... Tuna salad sandwich prepared with Duke's light mayo White meat fajita chicken mixed into rice and beans, add salsa Frozen wontons added to chicken broth with a frozen egg roll on the side (heated in the toaster oven without oil) Some kind of pasta dish (nothing with butter or cream, obviously, though those Knorr pouches will work in a pinch if you skip the butter), add white meat chicken Salad remains the most frequent choice, though.

@CBSScottWhite Don't let them put you on a statin. The normal levels of cholesterol keep changing over the last few decades to get more people on the drugs. Don't give in.

@klekner78 Some shockingly low saturated fat treats that feel way more indulgent than they are include Klondike ice cream sandwich (NOT bars, but sandwiches) and Aldi bake shop cinnamon rolls. Also, butter is basically the devil. Substitute olive oil wherever tolerable.

I should preface by acknowledging that I had it pretty easy because, after gathering up all the numbers, it turns out I was eating like my plane was going down. I thought I was doing well by swapping in a salad for lunch a few times a week, but I wasn't skimping on the indulgences, doing things like eating ice cream most days of the week, baking biscuits for a snack, etc. First, I familiarized myself with the saturated fat content of *everything* after not really paying attention to it ever. Figured out what was never worth it, what was worth it but with strict limitations, and what could serve as more of a dietary cornerstone. For the things I had to eliminate, I found alternatives that I already enjoyed and could stand to eat more of. Switched to skim milk. A lot less dairy in general. Limited myself to just one indulgent lunch a week and two indulgent desserts. Ordinary lunch or dessert would have to be 3 games of saturated fat or less. Continued to skip breakfast, but didn't stress about dinner because my wife usually prepares that. Relaxed the rules (but without going overboard) when I was on vacation. That's about it. I realize there may come a day when I have to cut back more.

@selahgunners I tried intermittent fasting for a couple years but gave it up when I got the high LDL reading because I realized had to direct my discipline elsewhere.
