I often hear, “My kid doesn’t want to go to church” as the reason parents leave their teenagers at home
My mom used to physically drag me to church
Eventually, I grew to love it, and it played a major role in making me who I am today
Make the decision now, not later
“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” — Joshua 24:15

Parents of Teenagers:
Prioritize church in your kids’ lives
They have the rest of the week to study, play sports, and pursue hobbies, and the rest of their lives to work a job
Build a strong foundation that church comes first, and watch it pay dividends in the strength, stability, and well-being of your family
What you make a priority now will shape what they value later

Be creative
Copying someone can only get you so far
David refused Saul’s armor because he knew he couldn’t win someone else’s battle with someone else’s equipment
“I cannot walk with these, for I have not tested them.” — 1 Samuel 17:39
Learn from people. Honor people. But don’t spend your life trying to be people
God anointed you to be you

@DoingTheJayce I’ve never seen where the Bible says to do that
