As people set goals for 2026, prioritize your health. Sleep, nervous system balance, and what you put into your body matter more than anything else. Everything in life depends on health, and most people feel invincible until it’s taken from them. I rarely talk about this publicly, but my health has deteriorated significantly over the past year after a seven-year fight with complex illness involving multiple rare medical conditions in which any one would be an extreme challenge on its own. Recently, things have escalated to a level that has become unbearable and profoundly disabling, making it extremely difficult just to get through the day. One of the most severe symptoms is waking up every day to violent electrical surges tearing through my entire body like being electrocuted from the inside, muscle by muscle, nerve by nerve followed by recurring attacks throughout the day. It’s a level of physical suffering that’s hard to imagine unless you’ve lived it. Staying active in the markets and consulting has been a way to keep my mind engaged and hold onto a sense of purpose while dealing with severe health challenges. Things have reached a point where I need to step back. I love this community and truly appreciate the conversations, support, and friendships here more than people realize.
