PBMs are responsible for creating pharmacy networks and setting drug prices. They routinely push patients to pharmacies THAT THEY OWN! If that’s not a conflict of interest, what is? #questions4PBMs

@gillibrandny @SenCoryGardner I’m with NACDS which has emphasized the importance of a 100% commitment to patient care, and a zero tolerance for abuse. The needs of chronic pain patients, and the need to serve as part of the solution to the opioid abuse epidemic. We encounter this dual responsibility every day

If we want to end the opioid epidemic, we must work to address the root causes of abuse. That’s why @SenCoryGardner and I introduced legislation to limit opioid prescriptions for acute pain to 7 days. Because no one needs a month’s supply for a wisdom tooth extraction.

@morningmika I think the best way to react to these actions is to VOTE. It is the most powerful action and privilege we have as Americans. If your state does not have early voting, get an absentee ballot today and VOTE. I picked up mine this week in Rockland County - so easy!
