We're #EVSCProud of our 2 National Merit Semifinalists! Drew Claybrooks @EvansvilleNHS & Blake Podewils @CentralBearsCHS are among the 16,000 students in the nation to be given this honor. This group of semifinalists represents less than 1 percent of all U.S. high school seniors!

One of my favorite times of the year! Brings back great memories of when I was a band director at Bosse and Reitz. The bonds these students make will last a lifetime!

We always love the United Way Day of Caring! This year we were joined by a group of awesome volunteers from Deaconess to help redo the landscaping at the entrance to Dexter. We're so grateful to United Way and all they do for our schools and community. #BeTheOne #BetterTogether

An incredible achievement for these two students!

While I was at North Jr High today, one of the two 7th grade orchestra classes treated me to an impromptu concert! They did an incredible job. It was also great to see one of my former students conducting them! Bravo!

This is great! I've started playing tennis again recently and could definitely use some tips too! Proud of these student athletes.

The impact Chuck had on me will last a lifetime. He deeply loved his family, friends, and employees. His word was gold. I can't think of anyone more honest, humble, and impressive for our students to have as a role model. We miss you, Chuck!

Today marks 10 years since the dedication of Bundrant Stadium at North. Chuck Bundrant was someone who left everything better than when he found it. Every day I'm inspired when I walk into my office and the first thing I see is the "Chuck Bundrant Day" proclamation on my wall.

Marching band teaches students grit, persistence, teamwork, and determination - skills that they will utilize for the rest of their lives. This is an incredible accomplishment that few achieve and I know the entire EVSC community is proud of their efforts. Way to go!

I was surprised yesterday by directors of the @EvansvilleNHS marching band with an ISSMA State Marching Band runners-up ring! I'm so grateful for this thoughtful gift, and am honored to have this ring that commemorates the hard work of the Green Brigade students and staff.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to conduct 3 finale pieces for our honors concert. It has been a joy to work with these talented musicians these last couple of months, and even more exciting to rehearse with them in the @Victory_Theatre! I hope to see you tomorrow night at 7!
