The best employability advice for students starting uni, “focus on the opportunities over a specific goal – internships, research, modularity in your degree, and so on.” I’d add get a part time job on campus,this will help you meet other students and feel like you belong.

“Peers matter at all ages, of course, but there’s something about peers in adolescence that takes on increased importance and plays a role in decision making and risk taking, and all sorts of other things that adolescents do.”
