The ANC served legal papers, demanding the removal of our billboard. They argue it’s insensitive, misleading & that Lesufi’s image was created using AI without his consent. “Insensitive” is boasting about hotel showers when taps are dry for everyone else. We WILL NOT remove it.

The President of this country can't fix potholes, but he wants to get involved in conflicts far away from us which has got nothing to do with us. No wonder we are where we are as a country.

PRESIDENT RAMAPHOSA CALLS FOR DIALOGUE IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND CONDENMS INTERNATIONAL LAW VIOLATIONS President @CyrilRamaphosa and the Government of the Republic of South Africa expresses deep concern regarding the escalation of tensions in the Middle East. These developments pose a serious threat to regional and international peace and security, with far-reaching humanitarian, diplomatic and economic consequences. President Ramaphosa calls on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and to act in a manner consistent with international iaw, international humanitarian law and the principles of the United Nations Charter. Article 51 of the UN Charter provides for self-defence only when a state has been subjected to an armed invasion. Anticipatory self-defence is not permitted under international law and self-defence cannot be based on assumption or anticipation. Experience has repeatedly demonstrated that there can be no military solution to fundamentally political problems that can and should be resolved diplomatically. Military confrontation has never delivered sustainable peace, nor has it addressed the legitimate grievances that underlie conflict. Long-term peace and stability can only be achieved through inclusive dialogue and a genuine commitment to justice and coexistence. President Ramaphosa therefore, reiterates his call for intensified diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions and create space for continued meaningful negotiations. "We urge the international community, including multilateral institutions and regional partners, to redouble efforts aimed at promoting mediation and peaceful resolution. As a nation that has emerged from conflict through dialogue and reconciliation, South Africa remains steadfast in its belief that peace is not only possible, but imperative for the shared future of the Middle East and the world", said President Ramaphosa. ISSUED BY THE PRESIDENCY OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA

I can see from my feed that Zionists in SA are gloating at the Israel/US attacks on Iran. They probably love to see children murdered.

COMMENT: South Africa is under siege from crime. An average of 71 murders every day. Cash-in-transit robberies in broad daylight. Hijackings, Robberies and House invasions. Kidnappings for ransom. Extortion gangs terrorising businesses. Illegal guns in the hands of ruthless criminals. Illicit trade costing the country billions of rands. Scams. How much more must people endure before we stand up? This fight cannot be left to the police alone. Government, business, the media, communities and every citizen must play a role. We need activism at every turn. We need communities to speak out. We need leaders to act — not talk. For too long criminals have been allowed to operate without fear. For too long law-abiding citizens have lived in fear in their own country. Enough is enough. South Africa must rise against crime — together, loudly, and without fear.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has taken direct control of the probe into Iran’s participation in the Will of Peace naval exercise. The move signals escalating stakes in South Africa’s diplomatic and defense posture. Should South Africa assert stronger leadership in international military exercises, or focus on avoiding entanglement in global power struggles? #news #CyrilRamaphosa #control #probe #Iran #participation #naval #exercise Read on tinyurl.com/pcyddcbx

Of COURSE geopolitics especially with regards to super powers, affect South Africa. I've never inferred otherwise. But, I often find that insights by private South African citizens, let's say, on this platform, is heavily influenced by which superpower they support, understandably so. However, what I believe many forget, is the true consequences to us as a nation. With the current matters unfolding in the Middle East, and South Africa's reliance on Nigerian Crude Oil, do not underestimate the influence that the US has on the supply chain through control of shipping routes. I think it is wise to hedge for a potential spike in fuel prices in South Africa and the opportunity of using this to force the current mafia state to its knees. Ultimately, alignment with whomever will achieve the best outcome domestically, should be the focus.

Donald Trump is dragging the United States into a war the American people do not want. Let me be clear: I am opposed to a regime-change war in Iran, and our troops are being put in harm’s way for the sake of Trump’s war of choice. Read my full statement:
