With absolute certainty you can be suspicious of anyone who thinks to blame the manager for Curtis Jones potentially leaving. The moment was booked the minute we signed Grav, MacAllister & Szoboszlai in one summer.

@samuelap1_ As long as we have an outlet LW for him to hit, that’s where he thrives. Really like him but feels too ambitious to try and get him this summer! With Szoboszlai, Wirtz and potentially Wharton you have enough creativity there (never hurts to add more though)

@FPLSlick I think Olise is good. Not an absolute fixer in his 1v1s but with someone like Frimpong around him I think we can unlock him really well. He spots diagonal passes really well from the right side too, something that I think is super crucial.

Rio’s rise is like so welcomed. For a team that will constantly be facing lower blocks having his profile on the cards is a game-changer. You have him on the left with all that gravity, sucking players towards him, Wirtz floating around pulling strings with intricate passes - the right wing profile should maybe be a creator type - Olise makes sense in this sense. The obvious headache though is that we have 2 starting strikers. Wonder how Slot will profile the team in this sense?

@cxllumlfc100 We were trying to win within 90 minutes, Gakpo not behing fit in extra time didn’t help. Also if Trent stayed on the pitch the whole time we would have won

We didn’t get battered in the 2nd leg. We actually got really unlucky and should’ve won the tie inside 90 minutes. Extra time we got peppered but we were clearly playing for penalties

The result feels harsh for me. We dominated the second half far more than they did in the first half. First half I think they took care of the ball far better in the volatile moments, we didn’t. We created next to nothing from our buildup’s too, second half this all changed - up until Bernardo’s goal we had them. Gutted tbh. I’m not buying any complaints about the coaching.
