@OlexGameDev Yeah, I do. AI does an ok "broad phase" sanity check, before I pass code to the human review. I wouldn't accept all the suggestions, but usually a couple or so out of, say, six bullet points it generates would make sense. It takes several iterations for larger MRs / PRs of course

Is anybody else using AI for review your code? As a solo game dev, it's a great code review assistant, it catches real errors. Instead of AI vibe coding environments, I would rather have something that simply reviews on a side, like a more advanced clang validation pass. But webdevs are pushing the useless vibe coding instead. :(

Вообще вот я никогда не жаловался на обилие разных магазинов и лаунчеров но когда все в твиттере показывают статистику из стим мне всегда жаль что у меня половина игр в GOG и EGS а некоторые еще и куплены мной дважды на Switch а то и вообще до появления стима на дисках)

Так, а вот такой вопрос, например. Кто-нибудь пробовал применять ЛЛМ для создания игровых уровней? По идее, любая ЛЛМ книг/статей по гейм/левелдизайну перечитала больше, чем любой человек в мире. Так что теоретически можно дать ей инструменты и пускай создает шедевры. Или чо?

@16bitnostalgia Yeah, but on PS4. Back then I didn't have PS2, but "fell in love" just with screenshots in a gaming magazine. It turned out to be such a great game, clearly radiating the zeit geist, with all its aesthetics and music

@Feacur I like the Wonder Boy/Monster World series and it's my favorite one (but I didn't play the 2018 entry for modern systems yet, or the 2021 remake Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World).

1. В Стим можно добавить ссылку на игру вне Стима. 2. Есть всякие опенсорсные штуки, которые легко ставятся, если нужно что-то нестандартное. GlosSI или там какой-нить UWPHook. Умельцы докрутят всё для нового контроллера, я уверен. От "игрожура с 20-летним стажем" ожидал большего погружения в тему, всё же, с ссылками в статье и т.п.

Warcraft III: Legacy is back on the Battlenet app. If you own Warcraft III: Reforged, you can now play the old classic version. It is the same as the game before Reforged came out. To get it, open the Battlenet app. Go to your Warcraft III page. Find the Game Version menu at the bottom left, above the Play button. Select Warcraft III - Legacy TFT 1.29. It will download about 6.25 GB. Right now, you can only play it offline or with friends on the same local network. Online play on Battlenet is not ready yet. This is great for the original story campaigns and old custom maps that work best on this version.
