My keynote presentation at the CARM meeting was on #ultrasound guided surgery. Physicians were excited about these new safe, effective, office based treatments that facilitate rapid recovery. ⁦@mayoclinicsport⁩ ⁦@MayoClinicPMR⁩

The conference center where the CARM meeting took place was right across from many of the Beijing #Olympic venues, such as the #BirdNest and #WaterCube. The 2022 Winter #Olympic Games will be in Beijing. I look forward to being there to support #TeamUSA. ⁦@mayoclinicsport⁩

@FinnoffJonathan @AAPMR @MayoClinicPMR Was this peritendinous in general about the ankle? Achilles, PTT, etc? Or for one specific tendinopathy? I’m in this situation right now for an in season athlete with insertional Achilles tendinosis without reliable access to shockwave.

Joanne Borg-Stein is a giant in the field of #regenmed. Enjoyed presenting with her and Eugene Roh in ankle biologics. Her suggestion of peritendinous PRP injection for in season athletes was intriguing and warrants more research. ⁦@AAPMR⁩ ⁦@MayoClinicPMR⁩
